Safety and Health Improvement Activities

S-CAR (Safety-Corrective Action Request) Program

S-CAR is a system for ‘unsafe factor correction request,’ which identifies and addresses risk factors caused by unsafe conditions or behaviors at the site. The chief site manager, safety manager, supervisor, and subcontractors each do their part and participate in S-CAR to prevent serious incidents from occurring. In addition, to encourage employee participation in identifying potential risks, we select and award best S-CAR cases every month. We are also using a mobile application we have developed to ensure efficient establishment of S-CAR infrastructure and data management and analysis.

  • Identify potential risks

  • Issue S-CAR

  • Correct issue and check

  • Enter data into system database

  • Analyze S-CAR and share results
